In the most remote regions of the world where rural villages still stand, an influence began to spread. It started as a whisper, easily swatted away like the hum of an insect. But it persisted. Over time, the whisper grew to a voice both cunning and strong. People started to listen. The voice became many. People started to follow.

Far away in Republic City, capital of the United Republic of Nations and symbol of the world’s unanimous peace for the over three hundred years, Avatar Leyna meditated. She entered the Spirit World seeking serenity from a feeling of dread that had been creeping into her heart. Instead of finding it, she began to feel more anxious. This was a warning, but of what? When she asked for guidance, something frightened her out of the Spirit World and back into her body. That something was coming. And though she knew not what it was, in her Spirit she could sense its severity. Leyna needed to be ready. The world needed to be ready. Neither of them were…

Unbeknownst to Leyna, the evil that caused the Avatar to be created in the first place is back with a vengeance. She is the first to sense it but the spiritually inclined will quickly follow.

Most people do not believe they can be manipulated by such an archaic entity. They are not barbarians easily swayed by the unknown. They are people of the modern day, people of science and art as much as the ancient ways. Their harmony and unity will keep them strong, keep them safe. Or so they think.

Others believe the entity is not evil at all, but the key to unlocking a better future than the one they already share. This entity is from the Spirit World, and therefore can bring them what previously only the Avatar could experience: True enlightenment and access to the Spirit World!

Few are both humble and wise. They understand that this force is not to be taken lightly. The world’s well being is at stake. Only by standing both together and beside the Avatar may its legacy finally be destroyed forever.
